The 2027 Hyundai Tucson is still in the testing phase, but the latest series of digital renderings made by AutoYa has revealed the appearance of this new SUV.
In the rendering, the 2027 Hyundai Tucson has a muscular front end with a powerful vertical grille, distinctive “Starmap” daytime running lights, and off-road exterior details. However, according to actual sources, the new generation Tucson will have a more square design, inspired by the Santa Fe.
On the Hyundai Tucson 2027 build from AutoYa, the car has a neat new LED cluster and a flatter, more modern front end than the current version. The body is also expected to be less “ribbed”, giving a more solid and practical feel.
The fenders will be slimmer, while the rear windows will be enlarged to increase visibility and space for the third row. The rear of the car has not been revealed, but is expected to have vertical LED taillights that extend from the rear bumper to the spoiler – similar to the 2024 SantaFe.
Inside the cabin, the 2027 Hyundai Tucson will likely inherit the new interior design language from the Ioniq 3, with a super-thin digital clock cluster behind the steering wheel and a tablet-style touch screen center screen, instead of the dual screen like the rendering. Minimalist, modern and high-tech design is the main orientation.
In terms of operation, Hyundai plans to equip the 2027 Tucson with many transmission options, including a 2.5L turbocharged gasoline engine (290 horsepower), 2.2L diesel (210 horsepower), hybrid (260 horsepower), and plug-in hybrid (270 horsepower).
In addition, the new Tucson 2027 will also have an extended-range electric version EREV (320 horsepower). In particular, a high-performance version Tucson N is also being developed, competing directly with the Toyota RAV4 GR Sport.
The new generation Hyundai Tucson is expected to launch globally in 2026 and go on sale in the North American market as a 2027 model.
