Panitchaphon Teeraratsakul stormed into the men's singles quarter-finals of the BWF Princess Sirivannavari Thailand Masters 2026 at Nimibutr Stadium on Thursday.

Panitchaphon, a finalist at the Indonesia Masters on Sunday, continued his fine form as he defeated third seed and defending champion Jason Teh of Singapore 21-11, 21-18 to reach the last eight of the US$250,000 (approx 7,795,000 baht) Super 300 event.

The 21-year-old, who climbed eight spots to No.36 in the BWF world rankings this week following his impressive performance in Jakarta, will play world No.48 Prahdiska Bagas Shujiwo of Indonesia next.

Shujiwo knocked out another seeded player, No.7 Kiran George of India, 21-16, 21-11.

In other men's singles results, Malaysia's Lee Zii Jia battled past India's Mithun Manjunath 11-21, 21-16, 21-12 to set up a last-eight clash with Indonesia Masters winner and tournament second seed Alwi Farhan, who beat Israel's Daniil Dubovenko 21-14, 21-10.

China's Zhu Xuanchen knocked out Malaysian sixth seed Justin Hoh 21-14, 21-10 and will play India's Tharun Mannepalli next.

Panitchaphon's twin brother Pakkapon Teeraratsakul failed to advance in the men's doubles event after he and playing partner Peeratchai Sukphun lost to Malaysia's Chia Weijie and Lwi Sheng Hao 14-21, 21-15, 19-21.

There were more disappointments as Kittinupong Kedren/Lucas Ekarat Wedler and Pharanyu Kaosamaang/Tanadon Punpanich also lost in the men's doubles last 16.

In the women's doubles, Ornnicha Jongsathapornparn/Sukitta Suwachai and Hathaithip Mijad/Napapakorn Tungkasatan were also sent packing.

Women's top seed Supanida Katethong was to face compatriot Tidapron Kleebyeesun later on Thursday while Malaysia's Wong Ling Ching was the first to reach the quarter-finals after beating seventh seed Julie Dawall Jakobsen of Denmark 21-18, 21-11.
