Ah, shopping – is there any better way to spend your time? Whether it’s for food, fashion, accessories or just plain ol’ window shopping, retail therapy is one of the best ways to let go and relax. Well, if that’s right up your alley, then you must have heard of Boutiques Singapore at F1 Pit Building. This time, Boutiques presents The Spring Summer Edition 2025 – perfect for the bright, summery weather of this island.
With 320 homegrown and international brands, it might be a little overwhelming. Spanning three floors in the building, there are so many things to explore. From handcrafted artisanal jewellery to clean beauty brands to quirky homeware, there’s always more to see with every new room you wander into. However, there’s no doubt that fashion takes centre stage at this event.
So many booths – of course, there were ones that caught my eye! Surprisingly, they weren’t fashion-related, at least not all of them. From sweet treats to meticulously crafted accessories to niche indulgences, let’s see the brands that hooked me amidst the sprawling expanse of different vendors.
Shop ‘til You Drop!
The Garage (Level 1)
Now, how can you shop with an empty stomach? With a whole level dedicated to eats, it’d be a waste if you didn’t stop by for at least one! Enter The Garage – a weird name for a dining space you might think, but it’s used to house the Singapore Grand Prix Pit Crew during the season! But for Boutiques Singapore, it’s been transformed into a stylish and breezy alfresco dining area.
With over 300 seats available, grab a table and amble through the level. Take your pick, whether it’s a sweet treat or something savoury. There are charcuterie boards, kimchi, kombucha and a whole lot more – even a couple of stalls selling alcohol on every level. Be it kickstarting your shopping spree here or wrapping it up with a good chow down on some munchies, you’re bound to find something you like here.

Need a little sugar boost? Check out Warabimochi Kamakura. You might have spotted their stalls all over the island, but here they are as well! Well-known for their warabimochi, mochi lovers will fall in love with their silky soft yet springy mochi coated with kinako (also known as soybean powder).
As someone who had fallen in love at first bite, this is hands down one of the best mochis you can sink your teeth into. I heard there’s an event exclusive for Boutiques Singapore as well: their Matcha Strawberry Warabimochi Drink! A classic for matcha lovers, be sure to grab that as well.

Need something a little more filling? Check out Chimichanga! Loaded nachos, tacos, bowls and margaritas; you’ll be spoiled for choice as your tummy grumbles in the background. Not to mention each and every item is bright and brimming with colours and smells – it’s not just a feast for your tastebuds but also your other senses! I don’t know about you but my mouth is just watering thinking about all that food…
Level 2 & 3
Okay, now the shopping begins! Just like many others, I wandered through seven rooms worth of designers, vendors and brands. Unfortunately, most were not for me – however, if you’re a fan of clean, minimalistic looks, this is heaven for you. Despite that, there were a couple of places that piqued my interest!

My first step into level 2 and I was immediately greeted by the well-known and well-loved Vintagewknd, an upcycling brand that is located in Haji Lane. Perhaps in another universe, I would’ve loved the cottagecore aesthetic. With light flowy forms and beautiful floral pieces, I know many would have a field day with this booth!
Even as someone who prefers dark colours and more structured outfits, I could definitely see the appeal – especially in their reworked corset tops. However, since this was the first stop I resisted temptation and continued on.

Our next stop is a little sweeter – namely The Rare Honey Company. Never would I have thought that I would be interested in honey yet here we are. Such a huge variety of pure Australian honeys before me – and all of them with their own unique tastes and aromas! With a thicker consistency and opaque nature, the Creamed Karri honey intrigued me the most. Reminiscent of butterscotch, it’s meant for use as a spread on toast, perfect if you like a little bit of sweetness to your mornings.
I grabbed a honey lemon drink to go as well, made with their Coast Wildflower honey due to its subtle floral notes. Be sure to drop by their Joo Chiat store and try out their honey-infused bakes for yourself as well!
Let’s traipse up to level 3 and continue the exploration. If you thought level 2 had a lot, level 3 presented way more!
Ah, the one store where I simply couldn’t resist the temptation any longer! The Polska Traveller at level 3 had displays of jewellery beyond anything I’ve ever seen before. It was clear that each and every piece that was on display was meticulously crafted down to even the most minute detail. Bracelets, rings, earrings – there were so many beauties on display I couldn’t help but approach the booth.
After a long, long time thinking and sifting through the pieces, I eventually walked away with two things – a stud of a hibiscus flower and a dangling style earring of another flower. Both had mesmerising hues of blue and purple as the light hit them at different angles – safe to say, these were definitely pieces that I will treasure for a long while.
Grab A Drink And Chill
Walking through the different rooms, you might spot a variety of lounges and resting spots. A well-timed break between shopping always charges me right up! Be sure to grab a seat, sip on a drink and sink your teeth into the bites there.
You’ll find Tipo Pasta Bar located in room 3A as well as a viewing lounge to rest your legs and look through all your purchases at room 3D. There are a couple of cafes sprinkled throughout the different rooms on levels 2 and 3 as well – most notably Hello Arigato Cafe in room 3C! One, however, stood out to me from the rest.

Events like these are bound to get a little noisy and it’s easy to get overwhelmed – what with so many things to look at and voices overlapping one another. Sometimes you just need to tune out a little bit and have a little time for yourself! If this sounds like you, stop by this quaint little listening lounge tucked in the corner of room 2A.
In a collab between Avante Culture Club and Kyo Kohee, visitors will get a chance to listen to their favourite albums on record players while getting a drink to quench their thirst. Here, they have a couple of cubbies of vinyl records for your perusal – even a shelf of them for sale! From older albums to recent ones, you’ll find all kinds of records available.
I’m not usually one for listening to records, however, seeing this quiet spot spaced away from the throngs of people, I can definitely see why many like doing so. Let the noise, voices and clamour melt away as you slip on noise-cancelling headphones, your chosen album playing as you gaze out of the window – truly something out of a music video!
