With Universal Studios Singapore delivering joyous smiles and the new Singapore Oceanarium set to open soon, there is much to do at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS). And it is about to get even more exciting as RWS introduces a new area for visitors to experience: WEAVE.

WEAVE is a new lifestyle destination designed with striking biophilic features that will amaze visitors. But beyond its unique architectural elements, it also hosts a lineup of new Asia and Singapore-exclusive brands that bring a fresh shopping and dining experience.

Here’s what WEAVE at Resorts World Sentosa is all about:

Nature at the heart of the WEAVE architecture

Designed by award-winning architectural firm Benoy and acclaimed landscape architects from ICN Design, WEAVE embraces Singapore’s tropical identity with the use of curated greenery amidst the asymmetrical shopfronts and outdoor refreshment zones.

Fitted with lush foliage like ferns and cycads, the biophilic space comes with soft curves, cascading plants, and open-air walkways that help link the indoors and outdoors, providing a multisensory journey for visitors as they explore the 20,000 sqm area.

Notably, the architecture has been made with comfort in mind. Weather sensors monitor the indoor micro-climates and use that information to power the high-volume, low-speed (HVLS) fans and jet fans for optimising airflow in the area. The space also utilises an innovative heat pump technology that repurposes byproduct from RWS hotels’ hot water generation to create sustainable cooled air for comfort. Also, the improved ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) roofing reduces solar heat gain by up to 80%, aiding the cooling process.

While wandering the area, visitors may notice WEAVE’s Lifestyle Villas, which are special highlights that house speciality shops. They feature multi-storey decks that overlook the animated greenery-decorated corridors and expansive glass façades that give visitors a peek at the outdoor nature.

The mesmerising design is just one part of the experience at WEAVE, with a curated list of new and familiar names joining the retail and dining list.

For shoppers, you can expect to see brands like Coach and adidas while roaming the space. Coach’s concept store in particular will feature Singapore’s first Coach Coffee Shop, offering all-day breakfast, sandwiches, its signature soft serve program and a curated coffee and tea selection. Meanwhile, the Resorts World Sentosa outlet will be adidas’ flagship concept store, offering an elevated shopping experience for customers of the brand’s hyper-local products and sport-meets-style collection.

Another notable retail name is Vilebrequin, which will be opening its largest store in Asia at WEAVE. The concept store offers a uniquely immersive shopping experience inspired by Jules Verne’s iconic sci-fi classic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, with cascading water-inspired installations and marine-inspired design showcased within the store. Alongside the brand’s full resort collection for men, women and children, you’ll be able to enjoy edition exclusives and personalisation services when visiting the store.

In terms of local brands, you can also support Brisa; a Singapore-based multi-brand concept store. They sell a thoughtfully curated range of European resort wear, artisanal accessories and lifestyle pieces, with exclusive labels such as Devotion Twins, Pearl & Caviar and Dragon Diffusion all available at the boutique.

Shopping and food go hand in hand, and WEAVE also offers an eclectic range of dining options in the area for visitors.

You can relax after a shopping session with a satisfying cuppa at Senmo Coffee, a contemporary café concept. The café decor blends ocean-inspired elements with minimalist aesthetics, giving a relaxed vibe as you enjoy their speciality brews like Pandan Coconut Latte and Rose Latte.

Popular Korean bakery Standard Bread is another highlight as they open their first international outlet at WEAVE. Now you’ll be able to have a taste of their signature salted butter bread, or try their selection of French toasts, spreads and soups. Plus, new items like the Maple Bacon & Garlic Toast and Truffle Mushroom & Cheese Toast are exclusive to the RWS store.

For a more hearty option, MENSHO X is opening its doors for hungry customers. The store is a bold evolution of Japan’s renowned ramen house MENSHO TOKYO, presenting a fast-casual ramen experience that perfectly balances speed, craft, and innovation. It is helmed by ramen maestro Chef Tomoharu Shono, who offers a ramen menu crafted with seasonal ingredients and handcrafted wheat noodles.

Local food brands also get some love, with visitors able to see names like Old Seng Choong, who bring their signature Singapore-inspired bakes to visitors. And of course, popular chains like Din Tai Fung also make an appearance at WEAVE, though diners will get to experience something special at RWS.

WEAVE at Resorts World Sentosa is officially open to the public, and what we’ve just listed here is just scratching the surface of what the space has to offer.

To learn everything about what you can experience at WEAVE, you can visit its official website and also follow Resorts World Sentosa’s socials on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for updates.
