Sabrina Carpenter is ready to fall down the rabbit hole!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Grammy-nominated singer will star in and produce a film adaptation of Alice in Wonderland under Universal Pictures. The movie will be written and directed by Lorene Scafaria.
Veteran producer Marc Platt, known for his work on Wicked, will also serve as a producer.
Sources told the publication that the film is a “passion project” for Sabrina, who reportedly pitched her ideas and lookbook to Universal Pictures nearly a year ago.
Alice in Wonderland follows a young girl who falls down a rabbit hole into a magical world of talking animals, where she embarks on adventures and clashes with the Red Queen.
Recently, Sabrina released her latest album, Man's Best Friend, in August. In October, the “Espresso” singer was also featured on Taylor Swift's track, "The Life of a Showgirl."
Sabrina is also set to headline the first day of Coachella in 2026.
She is best known for her hit songs “Please, Please, Please,” “Espresso,” and “Manchild.”
