NASA has revealed the official wake-up song playlist for the Artemis II mission, giving the public a glimpse into the music that kicks each day to a start for the crew.

On Instagram, the space agency announced the release of the playlist chosen by Commander Reid Wiseman, Pilot Victor Glover, and Mission Specialists Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen.

Per NASA, this continues “a tradition that started more than 50 years ago.”

The Spotify playlist blends classic hits and modern tracks, reflecting the crew’s varied tastes.

Here are the songs included in the wake-up playlist:

Wake-up music has long been a NASA tradition, dating back to at least the Apollo program. According to NASA, the practice helps build camaraderie and boost morale among astronauts and ground teams.

The goal remains simple: start the day in space with a sense of connection, familiarity, and team spirit.

The Artemis II mission was launched on April 1 and set a new record for the farthest distance that humans have ever traveled from Earth (252,756 miles or 406,771 kilometers).

The program aims to return humans to the Moon's surface by 2028 and create a permanent US presence there.
