Typhoon Uwan (international name: Fung Wong) had weakened as it exited the Luzon landmass on Monday morning, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
According to a report by the Office of the Civil Defense on Monday, two people were killed in Viga, Catanduanes, and Catbalogan City, Samar, due to the impact of Super Typhoon Uwan.
Meanwhile, a total of 1.4 million people (about 426,000 families) have been preemptively evacuated in Metro Manila, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Negros Island Region, Bicol, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, and Eastern Visayas.
Uwan made landfall on Sunday night over Dinalungan, Aurora, before crossing the Luzon landmass. On Monday, state weather bureau PAGASA said, Signal No. 4 is still hoisted in eight areas in Luzon.

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) has mobilized its rescue, feeding, and shelter operations for communities devastated by Typhoon Uwan.
On social media, the organization made an appeal, enlisting donations most needed, including food and water, hygiene kits, water containers, medicines, and solar lamps
For those who wish to contribute to PRC's relief efforts, the organization is accepting donations via BDO, Metrobank, PNB, Security Bank, GCash, Maya, PhilPaCS, and PayPal.
3. Angat Buhay
The Angat Buhay Foundation is accepting donations via GCash, bank transfer, and BPI eDonate.
The non-government organization is currently operating relief operations in Capiz, Cebu, Dinagat Islands, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, Palawan, Southern Leyte, Surigao del Norte, and Zamboanga City.

4. Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation
Cosmetics brand Dazzle Me has partnered with the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) for a TikTok live-selling event on November 10 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. A portion of every purchase will be donated to PDRF’s relief and recovery efforts.

5. Paws Philippines
In their report about the on-the-ground work following the devastation of Typhoon Tino, Paws Philippines said it was also bracing for impacts of Super Typhoon Uwan. "Every donation helps deliver comfort to those who need it most," Paws said on Instagram.
The non-profit dedicated to animals is accepting donations through BPI, PNB, BDO, as well as mobile banking apps like Cash and Maya. "You can also donate your Globe Rewards Points to Paws Philippines on the GlobeOne app," they said.
