Olympic gold medalist Mondo Duplantis has been breaking records in pole vault, and now he has a new record — a music record at that.
Duplantis released his new single ‘Feelin’ Myself’ last Thursday and shared his first live performance in the talk show of journalist Carina Bergfeldt the day after.
The song talks about about being himself and just feeling it — and he sounds good.
In a comment on TikTok, fellow vaulter Emmanouil Karalis even joked “Bro you’re so talented at this!! Can you ONLY do this for like a year?” to which Duplantis replied with a laughing emoji.
In a separate TikTok video, Duplantis shared a snippet of him singing with the caption “the side quest is getting a lil too serious.”
For fans of his athletics achievements, there is nothing to worry about though as just days after the release of his single, he topped the All Star Perche indoor pole vault tournament with a clearance of 6.06 meters to open his season.
Duplantis is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and has three gold medals each in the World Championships and World Indoor Championships.
