Nutella unveiled its first new flavor in more than six decades: Nutella Peanut.
The brand on Instagram announced the launch of the new spread, which blends its signature creamy hazelnut base with the taste of roasted peanuts, marking a major milestone since Nutella was first introduced in 1964.
In a statement, Senior Vice President of Spreads at Ferrero North America Noah Szporn said, “Nutella Peanut delivers the same creamy experience fans know and love, now blended with the irresistible taste of roasted peanuts."
"Our fans have been asking for this for years. We heard them, and afternoon snack time will never be the same," he added.
To mark the launch, Nutella will host its first-ever Nutella Peanut Pop-Up in New York City’s NoHo district from May 16 to 17.
Nutella, produced by Ferrero, has expanded beyond its original spread to include products such as Nutella Biscuits, Nutella B-ready, and Nutella & Go.
