Angelica Panganiban is set to appear in the second season of Heart Evangelista’s “Heart World!”
In a teaser clip of an upcoming “Heart World” episode shared by GMA Network, Heart opened up about a deeply personal chapter in their friendship, recalling past tensions tied to Angelica’s former relationships.
She candidly shared that she had strong negative feelings toward two of Angelica’s ex-partners in the past, which eventually contributed to a strain in their friendship at the time.
“‘Yung pinaka-hate ko na jowa mo, dalawa. Una, si [redacted], hate ko siya dahil, tina-try talaga kitang balikan. Tapos, nung ininvite mo ako sa bahay mo, sinabi niya, ‘Bakit mo ininvite?’ Heartbroken ako no’n,” the Kapuso Global Fashion Icon said.
Heart added an instance when she found herself in a difficult position as both a friend and an outsider looking in.
“First kong hate, siyempre si ano, [redacted]. ‘Yun. My God, hate ko talaga ‘yun kasi, ‘yun talaga, from a distance, naging kaibigan ko ‘yung someone, tapos kaibigan kita, tapos pa-rekindle tayo, tapos pagpasok ko nga doon, hinome tour mo pa ako, pinakita mo ‘yung mga painting, artworks. Eh, siyempre alam ko kung sinong gumawa. So, hindi ko ma-break it to you gently, kasi nga, hindi puwedeng mawala ang friendship,” she said.
Eventually, the situation led to an abrupt end to their closeness.
“Ang ending, that was the last time I saw Angelica. Naramdaman na ng isa na, ‘Magsasalita ‘to.’ Syempre, kitang-kita ko. Eh, nung time na ‘yun, single pa ako. So, gumigimik ako. So, nakikita ko ‘yung mundo sa labas. Eh, ito hindi gumigimik. So, hate na hate ko siya. Kasi ‘yun talaga, cold turkey. Nawala na lang ako bigla,” Heart said.
Heart and Angelica starred together in a 2002 teen-oriented show.
The second season of “Heart World” airs Saturdays at 9:30 p.m. on GMA Network.
