Railways reschedule 23 trains at Ludhiana junction amid annual timetable revision

The Railways have revised the timetable for 23 trains running via Ludhiana Junction station this year. According to railway authorities, the annual exercise revises train stoppages at various stations depending on passenger load and changing travel patterns.

The Dhauladhar Express will now stop for 25 minutes at Ludhiana Junction. Earlier, it arrived at 2.50 pm and departed at 3 pm; it will now leave at 3.15 pm. The MCTM Udhampur Weekly SF Express will halt for 15 minutes. Earlier it departed at 5.30 pm, and now it will leave at 5.35 pm. The Amritsar - Mumbai CSMT Express Running Status will stop for 10 minutes. Previously it departed at 11.45 pm, and now it will leave five minutes earlier.

Other trains, including the Bikaner-Amritsar Express, Hemkunt Express, Firozpur Cantt Express, Sutlej Express, Ganga Sutlej Express, New Delhi Vande Bharat Express, Delhi-Amritsar Express, Amritsar Garib Rath Express, Indore - Amritsar Express, Sachkhand Express, Jammu Tawi Humsafar Express, Amritsar Express, Jammu Tawi Vivek Express, and Jammu Tawi Humsafar Express, have also been rescheduled in a similar manner.

These changes do not include trains currently facing delays due to the foggy weather. Dense fog since late December has slowed railway traffic across the region, causing many trains to run behind schedule.
