The color comes in association with IKEA's 'GREJSIMOJS' collection, which is set to launch in February of 2026. As a response to IKEA's Play Report, which found that children and adults today spend less time on physical play than they want to, GREJSIMOJS consists of homewares designed in playful shapes and finished in powerful colors – including Rebel Pink.
IKEA's announcement of Rebel Pink comes as a stark contrast to the many other colors of the year that have already been named, including Pantone's 'Cloud Dancer' – the crisp white shade that has seemingly become a point of contention online.
