Holy release dates! Director Matt Reeves has unveiled a teaser for "The Batman: Part 2," confirming the film's release date.
The teaser marks Robert Pattinson's return as Bruce Wayne/Batman, showcasing a new Bat-symbol and confirming a theatrical release on February 18, 2028, six years after the first film premiered.
Returning cast members include Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as Jim Gordon, and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin.
The sequel will also introduce new faces, with "Avengers" stars Sebastian Stan and Scarlett Johansson joining the cast as Harvey Dent and Gilda Dent, respectively. Comic book fans know Harvey Dent as the Gotham district attorney who eventually becomes the villain Two-Face, while Johansson will portray his wife.
"Game of Thrones" actor Charles Dance has also joined the cast as Harvey's abusive father, Charles Dent.
It is also speculated that Barry Keoghan could reprise his role as the Joker after the character's brief appearance in the first film.
