FILIPINA tennis sensation Alexandra “Alex” Eala revealed the players she hopes to partner with should she compete in a mixed doubles event in a future tournament.

Topping Eala’s list is Serbian great Novak Djokovic, who owns 24 Grand Slam titles, including 10 Australian Open crowns and seven Wimbledon championships.

He also boasts four US Open titles and three French Open victories.

Second on the 20-year-old Filipina’s mind is world No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz of Spain, who has collected seven Grand Slam titles.

Alcaraz has won the French Open, Wimbledon and US Open twice each, and captured his first Australian Open title earlier this year.

“I would love to play mixed doubles, of course, with Novak or Alcaraz,” Eala said when asked about her preferred partner if given the opportunity.

Eala also named Brazilian rising star Joao Fonseca, who has been making waves on the ATP Tour.

Much like Eala, Fonseca has been drawing strong fan support, with crowds flocking to watch his matches.

A potential pairing between Eala and Fonseca is expected to be a blockbuster, given their growing popularity.

“I think Joao Fonseca is also a good one. He draws a great crowd, so I think that would be great,” Eala added.

Eala is set to compete in the Stuttgart Open in Germany, where she will face Filipino-Canadian Leylah Fernandez in the opening round.

Their match was originally scheduled for Monday but has been moved by organizers to Tuesday.
