SAN Miguel Beer tries to capitalize on its huge Game 4 victory when the Beermen go at it again with the Barangay Ginebra Kings on Friday as the PBA Season 49 Governors' Cup semifinal series shifts to the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

The Beermen gutted out a 131-121 victory last Wednesday to level their best-of-seven semifinal series at 2-2.

San Miguel coach Jorge Gallent hopes the Beermen could sustain their efforts heading to Game 5 scheduled to start at 5 p.m.

In the main game at 7:30 p.m., TNT tries to close out its own semifinal series with another victory against Rain or Shine.

The Tropang Giga outlasted the Elasto Painters, 81-79, to grab a commanding 3-1 series lead, also on Wednesday.

The Gin Kings took Games 1 and 3, while the Beermen responded by winning Games 2 and 4.

Gallent is hopeful that they could change the trend with another strong effort in Game 5.

"I hope that thing doesn't follow anymore, we hope we change the tide on Friday," Gallent said, referring to both squads winning in alternate fashion during the first four games of the series.

With the series now reduced to a best-of-three affair, Gallent said that they will come into Friday's crucial match with the mindset that it's the first game in a mini series.

"We just think Game 1 on Friday, because in a best-of-three, Game 1 is very important," he added.

In contrast, Rain or Shine will have to string up another massive effort in order to keep its Finals hopes alive.

The Elasto Painters, one of the top offensive squads in the tournament, hit the speed bump in Game 4 after being held down to just 79 points in a defense-oriented duel.

Outside import Aaron Fuller, Yeng Guiao's charges will have to regain their scoring spunk with the likes of Jhonard Clarito, Gian Mamuyac, Andrei Caracut and Adrian Nocum needing to find their offensive rhythm on Friday.
