MANILA, Philippines — Carla Abellana’s engagement reveal with a mystery man turned into a wave of celebration across the entertainment industry, with fellow celebrities flooding her comments section to congratulate her on what many hailed as a fresh new chapter in love.
Abellana posted a photo on Instagram Monday showing a hand holding hers with a diamond ring on her finger clearly visible.
She captioned it with three white hearts and a Bible verse, “Jeremiah 29:11: ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.’”
The reveal marked her first major relationship milestone since her split from actor Tom Rodriguez.
