MANILA, Philippines — Parts of Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal will have power interruptions this week because of maintenance works, Meralco said on Sunday.
In Metro Manila, some areas in Brgy. Bagong Silangan, Brgy. Batasan Hills and Brgy. Payatas in Quezon City will have no power on January 12-13 between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. because of line reconstruction works along Dove St.
Also, some places in Brgy. Matandang Balara, Quezon City will have no electricity on January 16–17 between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. because of line reconductoring works and replacement of poles along Feria Road.
In Muntinlupa City, some areas in Brgy. Alabang, Brgy. Bayanan, Brgy. Putatan and Brgy. Tunasan will have no power on January 12-13 between 11:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. due to the replacement of poles, line reconstruction works and installation of additional lightning protection devices along Bautista St.
In Las Piñas City, some areas in Brgy. BF International Village, Brgy. Manuyo II; and Brgy. Pulang Lupa II will have power interruptions on January 14-15 between 11:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. on several time periods because of the replacement of hazardous electricity poles along CAA Road in Bgy. BF International Village.
On January 15, the whole of St. Mary Homes Subd. in Bgy. Almanza I, Las Piñas City will have no electricity between 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. because of line reconstruction works.
In Bagumbong, Caloocan City, Kingstown Executive Enclaves Subd., Kingstown Subd. Phases I and II, Princetown Subd., Queens Ville Subd. and Recomville 3 Subd. will have no electricity on January 15 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. because of the upgrading of facilities in Kingstown Subd., Phase II.
In Navotas City, some places in Brgy. Daang Hari and Brgy. Poblacion will have no power on January 16-17 between 11:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. due to the installation of poles and upgrading of electricity facilities along M. Naval St.
In the provinces, several villages in Angat, Doña Remedios, Trinidad, Norzagaray, San Rafael, San Ildefonso, San Jose Del Monte City, and Pandi in Bulacan will have power interruption on January 12 between 12:01 a.m. and 1 a.m. and between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. because of testing and repair works inside the Meralco–Sapang Palay substation.
Also, some places along Zig–Zag Road in Bgy. Malhacan, Meycauayan City, Bulacan will have no power on January 16-17 between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. due to the installation of an electricity pole and the upgrading and replacement of electricity facilities along Zig–Zag Road in Zigzag Hills Compound.
Some villages and places in Hagonoy and Paombong, Bulacan will also have power interruption on January 17-18 on several intervals between 11 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. and between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. due to preventive maintenance and testing works inside the Meralco-Malolos substation.
In Cavite, some areas in Bgy. Malagasang 1-B, Bgy. Malagasang 1-C, Bgy. Malagasang 1-D and Bgy. Malagasang 1-G in Imus City will have no power on January 14 between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. because of the upgrading of electricity.
Also, some locations in Bgy. Mendez Crossing East and Brgy. Patutong Malaki South, Tagaytay City, will have power interruption on January 14 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. due to the installation of electricity facilities.
Some areas in Brgy. Banahaw 1, Brgy. Banahaw 2, Brgy. Ipil 1, Brgy. Ipil 2, Brgy. Bulihan and Brgy. Yakal in Silang, Cavite will have no electricity on January 15-16 between 11:30 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. due to upgrading of electricity facilities and line maintenance works.
In Laguna, some parts of Bgy. Makiling in Calamba City will have no power on January 15-16 between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. due to line reconstruction works and installation of electricity facilities along Pan-Philippine Highway.
Also, some areas in Bgy. Bambang, and the whole of Camp 224th Eldrige in Bgy. Lalaka in Los Baños, Laguna will have no electricity on January 15-16 between 11:30 p.m. and 3:30 a.m. due to the relocation of electricity facilities.
Several areas and villages in Magdalena, Liliw, Majayjay, Sta. Cruz and Pila in Laguna will have short power interruptions on January 18 between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. and between 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. due to the retirement of electricity facilities along the Malaya-Caliraya-Kalayaan transmission line.
In Rizal, areas in James St. in Peñafrancia Subd. Purok 3, Bgy. Cupang, Antipolo City will have no power on January 16 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. due to the installation of electricity facilities and line reconductoring works.
