MANILA, Philippines — Some areas in Metro Manila and Laguna will have power interruptions this week because of maintenance works, Meralco said on Sunday.
In Metro Manila, some places in Brgy. Krus na Ligas, Quezon City will have no power on January 26 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. because of the conversion of some electricity facilities along S. Flores St.
Also, some areas in Brgy. Alicia and Brgy. Vasra in Bago Bantay, and Brgy. Culiat in Tandang Sora will have power interruptions on January 30-31 between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. due also to the conversion of electricity facilities along Mines St.
Some portions of Brgy. Nagkaisang Nayon, Novaliches, Quezon City, and Brgy. Ugong in Valenzuela will have power interruptions on January 30-31 between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. because of the upgrading and retirement of facilities, installation of an electricity pole and line reconstruction works along Tatalon St. and Mindanao Ave.
In Malabon, some parts of Brgy. Baritan and Brgy. Muzon will have no electricity on January 27 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. due to the replacement of a rotten electricity pole, upgrading of electricity facilities and line reconductoring work.
Some places in Brgy. Maysilo, Brgy. Panghulo, and Brgy. Tugatog will. also have power interruptions on January 29-30 between 11:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. due to the upgrading of facilities along M. H. Del Pilar St. in Brgy. Maysilo.
In Marikina, some parts of Brgy. Sta. Elena, and Brgy. San Roque will have no power on January 27-28 between 11:30 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. because of the replacement of electricity poles, line reconductoring works, and installation of electricity facilities along E. Dela Paz St. in Brgy. San Roque.
Next, several areas near and inside Wack-Wack Village, in Brgy. Wack-Wack Greenhills East, Mandaluyong will have no electricity on January 28 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. because of line reconductoring works along Harvard St.
In Manila, some parts of Binondo and San Nicolas will have a short power interruption on January 29 between 12:01 a.m. and 12:31 a.m. because of line reconstruction works along Muelle de Binondo St.
Also, a portion of Sta. Monica St. from Adriatico St. to A. Mabini St. in Ermita, Manila will have no electricity on January 29 between 12:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. due to the installation of an electricity pole along Sta. Monica St.
Some areas in Tondo and Sta. Cruz will have no power on January 29 between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. due to the replacement of electricity poles and line reconductoring works along Abad Santos Ave., and in Laguna, Molave and Lorenzo Sts. in Tondo.
In Makati City, some locations in Bgy. Bel-Air will have a power interruption on January 29 between 12:01 a.m. and 5 a.m. because of the replacement of a primary line switch along Makati Ave.
In Laguna, several villages in Magdalena, Liliw, Majayjay, Sta. Cruz and Pila will have power interruptions on January 31 between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. and between 12 noon and 12:30 p.m. due to the retirement of some electricity facilities along the Malaya-Caliraya-Kalayaan transmission line in Bgy. Lewin, Lumban, Laguna.
