MANILA, PhilippinesPhilippine Airlines (PAL) announced Thursday it would launch new flight services between Manila and Palau (Koror) starting 2026.

The flag carrier will begin offering twice-daily flights to Palau, an island nation in Micronesia, starting March 29.

This new Manila-Palau route strengthens PAL's presence in the Pacific region by providing seamless air connectivity to Palau from major Asian and select Philippine cities via the airline's Manila hub, making it easier to reach this tropical paradise.

"Creating flights to this Pacific island will stimulate tourism travel among beach lovers and the diving community. Travelers can expect world-class service on board their flights combined with Philippine Airlines' renowned Filipino heartfelt care," said PAL President Richard Nuttall.

Koror is the gateway to Palau's extraordinary marine attractions; the destination boasts vibrant dive sites, crystal-clear lagoons, and thriving coral reefs. Its proximity and ease of access position Palau as an attractive addition to PAL's network, reinforcing the carrier's commitment to expanding routes that deliver unique experiences and drive tourism growth.

To mark this milestone, PAL is offering special introductory fares: roundtrip economy base fares starting at $499 and business class base fares starting at $1,239. These promotional fares must be booked by Dec. 18 and are valid for travel beginning March 29, 2026, and beyond.

Flights from Manila are scheduled every Wednesday and Sunday, departing at 10:15 p.m. and arriving in Palau (Koror) at 2 a.m. local time.

Return flights from Palau (Koror) to Manila operate on Mondays and Thursdays, taking off at 3:10 a.m. local time and landing in Manila at 4:45 a.m.

The service will utilize PAL's modern 199-seater dual-class Airbus A321ceo aircraft, designed for passenger comfort and convenience.

According to the flag carrier, this new route complements PAL's existing Western Pacific service to Guam, further enhancing travel opportunities for leisure and business passengers across the region.
