FILIPINO tennis hotshot Alexandra "Alex" Eala added the WTA 125 Parma Ladies Open to the list of tournaments that are part of her buildup for the French Open or Roland Garros.

The Parma Ladies Open will run from May 11 to 16 in Italy with the French Open coming right after from May 18 to June 7.

Eala's participation in the Parma tournament is not certain, yet.

The "Challenger" tournament will overlap with the second week of the 1000 Rome Open.

Eala thus could only compete at Parma if she bows out early at the Rome Open which will swing from May 5 to 17.

Eala's lone title on the Tour is also a 125-tier in the Guadalajara Open last year.

Before Rome, Eala will compete in another 1000-tier competition in the Madrid Open running from April 21 to May 3.

Currently, world No. 45 Eala is the third highest-ranked player at the Parma Ladies Open.

The other two players rated higher than the Eala are world No. 32 Xinyu Wang and No. 44 Lois Boisson.

World No. 83 Camilia Osorio, who defeated Eala in the quarterfinals of the inaugural Philippine Women's Open and eventually won the whole tourney last January, is also listed in Parma.

World No. 99 Julia Grabher, who fell to Eala in the first round of the Linz Open two weeks ago, is also listed.

The other players in the initial Parma Open list are Jessica Maneiro, Anna Bondar, Veronika Erjavec, Viktorija Golubic, Sofia Kenin, Barbora Krejcikova, Ann Li, Eva Lys,  Caty Mcanally, Alycia Parks, and Oksana Selekhmeteva.

Completing the list are Mayar Sherif, Solana Sierra, Lilili Tagger, Taylor Townsend, Moyuka Uchijima, Hanne Vandewinkel, and Simona Waltert.
