The Filipino skiers are set to hit the snow starting on Saturday at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy .
Alpine skiers Francis Ceccarelli and Tallulah Proulx are set to take part in two events, the giant slalom and the slalom.
Both Olympians carried the Philippine flag during last week’s opening ceremony.
Ceccarelli, who was born in Quezon City but raised in Italy, will first take part on Saturday in the giant slalom. He returns on Monday for the slalom. Both events will take place at the Stelvio Ski Center.
According to a social media post by the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC), Ceccarelli had been training in the venue since last week.
A video was also posted on the POC Facebook page, where Ceccarelli had been showing his speed and skills during preparation.
Proulx, meanwhile, will start her bid on Sunday in the giant slalom and in the slalom on Wednesday at the Olimpia delle Tofane Alpine Skiing Center in Cortina d’Ampezzo.
She held a mini training camp in Val di Fassa with club teams, to prepare her for the races.
The POC said both skiers will have two runs per event.
