OPM singer Jun Sisa reached a career milestone after his single “2nd Chance” climbed to No. 1 on the Uprising chart of Vibe PH, a fan-powered platform that highlights emerging Filipino artists.
The achievement marked a strong comeback for Sisa, whose latest track reflects his renewed belief in his music career, in March 2026.
Written by Sisa with indie songwriter and producer Nics Lacap, “2nd Chance” drew from a deeply personal chapter in the singer’s life and was built around themes of perseverance, hope and self-belief.
“This song is for myself. It’s about choosing to believe again, trying again, and giving my dream another chance,” Sisa said.
The collaboration with Lacap helped bring that emotional narrative to life, pairing honest storytelling with contemporary OPM production that resonated with listeners facing their own setbacks and uncertainties.
The single gained more momentum after Sisa was featured as Vibe PH’s Uprising Star, where he performed “2nd Chance” in a rendition the platform described as “straight from the heart.”
As the track reached more listeners, Sisa said he hoped its message would inspire others to keep going despite disappointments,
“Failures don’t define you. What matters is how you rise again,” Sisa finally said.
