Ric Flair has built a legacy not only on his in-ring prowess but also on his extravagant, “stylin’ and profilin'” lifestyle. The 16-time World Champion recently opened up about the extent of his luxury spending, revealing details about his car collection, his wardrobe, and his affinity for high-end timepieces.

Speaking with former NFL player Julian Edelman on the “Games with Names” podcast, Flair discussed the importance of maintaining his larger-than-life image. He claimed that during the height of his career, he owned 300 pairs of alligator skin shoes and refused to wear the same outfit twice. When asked about his most significant purchase, Flair pointed to a rare high-performance vehicle.

Ric Flair Details Purchases

“Probably the most [expensive thing] I bought [is] an AMG S63, where they only made 160 of them. I paid 200 grand for that. It’ll go. It’s got a thousand horsepower. It’ll run. I drive it on Alligator Alley at 200 miles an hour. There’s no cops, ever. There’s not even a chance of getting caught there,” Flair said.

Flair’s mention of Alligator Alley—a stretch of Interstate 75 in Florida known for its remote nature—highlights the daredevil attitude that has followed him throughout his life. Beyond cars, Flair’s obsession with jewelry, specifically Rolex watches, has become the stuff of wrestling folklore. He frequently used his watches as props during his iconic promos, flaunting his wealth to the audience.

However, owning such a vast collection came with its own set of problems. Flair admitted that the sheer volume of luxury items made them difficult to track. He claimed to have lost approximately 40 Rolex watches over the decades. One notable loss occurred during a night of partying with fellow WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker, adding another chapter to the wild backstage stories of that era.

Flair’s commitment to the “Nature Boy” persona—both on television and in his personal life—has influenced generations of entertainers.
