Golden Retriever Goes to Daycare, Owner Can't Believe Photos They Send Her

A golden retriever named Rosie is melting hearts across the internet after a viral video captured her beaming post-daycare photos—and people can't get enough.

The video, shared on TikTok, has already racked up more than 899,000 views, featuring the 2-year-old pup living her absolute best life.

"I sent my dog to doggy daycare today and these are the photos they sent me," wrote poster @pixyvava0, before sharing the snaps of Rosie.

Covered in water, fur slightly tousled, and surrounded by her four-legged friends on a beachy playdate, Rosie radiates happiness in every picture sent by the daycare.

From chasing pals along the shore to striking joy-filled poses mid-run, Rosie's pictures are anything but the standard "sit-and-smile" shots. The caption summed it up perfectly: "What more could a girl want... Water and friends."

According to a 2023/34 study from the American Pet Products Association (APPA) on pet ownership and spending data, 66 per cent of U.S. households own a pet, so it is little surprise that dog daycare is big business.

Data from Nova One Advisor revealed the pet daycare market was worth $1.85 billion in 2024, and is projected to hit around $4.30 billion by 2034.

Dog daycare has become an increasingly popular solution for pet owners who want to ensure their pups are happy and well-socialized while they're at work or running errands. According to the American Kennel Club (AKC), a good daycare provides more than just supervision—it offers dogs a chance to play, get exercise, stay mentally engaged, and avoid boredom or separation anxiety.

"The best sign is a dog that comes home tired, but happy," the AKC said, a description that fits Rosie perfectly.

As the TikTok video, posted in March, gained more attention, people were quick to share their reactions in the comments.

"See these are the photos we need!! I'd rather have these than just the cutesy sitting pose. We need action shots," said AllyColoringBooks.

While viewer Jennifer said: "That looks like the best daycare. Where do I sign my dogs up?"

"Why does your dog have a better social life than me?" joked christinasmargaritas.

TikToker K8tt wrote: "She looks like she had a wonderful time with her besties."

On the TikTok page, Rosie's owner continues to share her adventures and even more daycare pictures, proving that she is always excited to visit her friends for the day.

Rosie isn't the only pup to love daycare. Earlier this year another golden retriever got home from daycare so exhausted he couldn't keep his eyes open after lots of playtime, while in 2024 a dog was caught on camera so excited to get into daycare that she took a hilarious "shortcut."
