San Francisco 49ers star defensive end Nick Bosa appears to be warming up to play against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 11, despite a hip pointer injury from last week's matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that turned him into a big question mark for fans.

Bosa had one of his toughest outings of the season in Week 10 against the Buccaneers. While he did register a sack, he was only able to generate three pressures and missed one tackle.
One particularly frustrating moment came when Bosa grabbed Baker Mayfield by the arm and ran with him toward the sideline, rather than taking him down. This allowed Mayfield to complete an 8-yard pass on a crucial fourth-and-7 play, which was a costly mistake for the defense.
Apparently, he also injured his hip at one point, which the defensive end called probably "the worst thing [he'd] had to play through."
Bosa missed his second straight practice on Thursday due to the injury and was considered questionable for much of the week. Although he's been cleared to play against the Seahawks later today, it's unclear how effective he'll be against Seattle.
Through nine games this season, Bosa has tallied just 5.5 sacks, and at times, he appears to be taking it easy. This could be due to the fact that he's playing more snaps than ever before.
Prior to this season, Bosa never played more than 80 percent of the defensive snaps, but in 2024, he's been on the field for 86 percent. It seems that the increased workload is starting to wear on him.

While Bosa has had something of a subpar season so far, there is a reason why he's considered a star player. After being drafted second overall in the 2019 NFL Draft, Bosa quickly became one of the league's top defenders, winning NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honors after recording 9 sacks in his first season. His relentless pressure on quarterbacks helped lead the 49ers to Super Bowl LIV.
Despite a torn ACL that sidelined him for much of the 2020 season, Bosa bounced back in 2021 with 15.5 sacks and was named to the Pro Bowl. In 2022, he earned NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors after leading the league with 18.5 sacks.
