A dog owner has shown the reaction she gets from her animals when she comes home, describing it as the “purest love.”
Charly and Coco are adored pets, with their owner setting up Instagram account @charlyand.coco to share their daily lives with followers.
Now one clip has gone viral, as it showcased the heartwarming moment their owner was reunited with her dogs after being out. In a video posted on December 5, she asked: “How do you explain this feeling to someone who doesn’t have a dog?” While the ages of the pets are unknown, she described them in a hashtag as puppies.
It shows Charly and Coco curled up on the mat by the door, first appearing to be fast asleep. But all of a sudden, Charly perks up, with tiny Coco soon following suit. He stares at the door, obviously hearing something, and then barks.
But the moment Charly realizes it is his owner coming home, he has a major reaction: he jumps on his hind legs, his tail wagging furiously, grabs a soft toy, and paws at the door he knows his owner is about to come through.
Then comes their owner, and both pups rush to greet her, jumping up and trying to get as close to her as possible, pure joy visibly radiating from them both.
The owner wrote in the caption: “The purest love you can find—my best decision ever.”
Instagram users had a big reaction, liking the sweet clip almost 400,000 times, as one commenter agreed it was “the best way to be greeted.”
“Best part of the day, everyone is so happy,” another said, while a third animal lover shared: “I love coming home to my babies! They give so much. I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the [world].”
One user admitted they “cried,” adding: “There is nothing more beautiful than the unconditional love of a pet.”
Owning a dog has many benefits, including reducing loneliness, relieving stress and anxiety, and boosting your physical fitness levels as owners take them for walks, according to a report from the American Kennel Club (AKC).
