Former WWE Superstar Braun Strowman has revealed that he was hospitalized overnight due to a sudden and severe infection in his right knee. The former Universal Champion shared the concerning news with his followers on Instagram, posting a photo that confirmed his current medical situation.

“The Monster of All Monsters” explained that the issue arose unexpectedly, forcing him to seek immediate medical attention. He did not shy away from the severity of the situation, admitting that the infection appeared without warning.

“Well spent the night in the hospital with an infection that came out of nowhere in my right knee,” Strowman wrote in his caption. “So I could use some prayers and well wishes.”

This hospitalization marks the second significant health scare for the 42-year-old superstar in just a matter of weeks. On January 14, Strowman was reportedly involved in a car accident that left him dealing with a sore neck.

The accumulation of these physical setbacks has raised concerns among fans regarding his status for the immediate future. Infections in the joints, particularly the knees, are a serious matter for professional athletes and often require aggressive antibiotic treatment.

Despite the string of bad luck, Strowman appears to be maintaining a positive mindset through the adversity. He included hashtags such as “#IGotThis” in his social media update, signaling his determination to overcome this latest hurdle.

The timing of this hospitalization is particularly unfortunate as the company gears up for one of its biggest events of the year. Strowman has been a staple of WWE television since his return, and his physical presence is a key component of the roster.

Fans immediately flooded his comments section with messages of support, hoping for a speedy recovery for the beloved giant. The wrestling world knows all too well how quickly minor infections can escalate if not treated properly.

Strowman has battled through numerous injuries throughout his career, including serious neck and knee issues in the past. His resilience has never been in question, but consecutive health scares can take a mental toll on even the toughest competitors.

It remains unclear how long this infection will keep him sidelined or if it will impact any creative plans heading into the weekend. For now, the focus remains entirely on his recovery and ensuring the infection is gone.
