After leaving her kitties with her parents for a quick New Year’s getaway, a cat owner from London, United Kingdom, started receiving pictures of their shenanigans, and internet users can’t cope with them.
In a viral carousel of images shared on Instagram on January 2 under the username @ourcatbiscuit, the poster wrote: “Photos my parents have sent me of Biscuit and Blueberry since I’ve been away.
“I’ve popped away for a few days over New Year, and it’s safe to say Biscuit and Blueberry are living their best lives at the grandpawrents while I’m gone. I’ve been getting regular updates on all their antics…sorry to my sister…I’ve definitely got a few things to replace when I get back. I wonder who’s guilty.”
The pictures show the two 1-year-old kitties, Biscuit and Blueberry, taking over the house and every single window sill, hiding in the most unconventional places, and enjoying being spoiled by their grandparents during their stay.
The poster, who remains anonymous, told Newsweek: “Biscuit and Blueberry are my 2 British longhair cats. They’re both super sociable, cuddly, and total little characters. They’re obsessed with attention and very much run the house.
“When I mentioned I was going away, my parents jumped at the chance to look after Biscuit and Blueberry for a few days. They sent me daily updates with adorable photos of the girls causing chaos and making themselves at home straight away.”
It is not unusual for pets to love their grandparents even more than their owners, but how do they actually choose their favorite people?
Union Lake Veterinary Hospital says that, in most cases, the person who makes the most effort is definitely the favorite.
If you don’t think that you are your kitty’s favorite human, then don’t worry; you can easily become so by spending more time with them, matching their interests, talking to them and even just petting them more often.
