The adorable friendship between a Samoyed and a delivery driver has melted hearts online, leaving internet users obsessed with their daily ritual.

Delivery drivers often deal with unruly dogs who bark or mistake packages for chew toys. But they also get to meet plenty of furry friends along the way, as FedEx driver Phil Blaisdell has discovered.

Every day, Blaisdell, 49, sees Winter, the 6-year-old Samoyed on his rounds through New Hampshire and she always gets so excited about his arrival. She will immediately start wagging her tail and run towards him (although careful not to stray further than her property). They’ve certainly formed quite the bond over the years, as Blaisdell tells Newsweek that seeing Winter “definitely makes [his] day.”

Blaisdell said: “Winter is happy, fun and super sweet. She always gets so excited seeing and hearing the FedEx truck, she starts running and wagging her tail. I’m always just as excited to see her as she is about seeing me too.”

After delivering any packages to Winter’s home (can’t forget that important part), Blaisdell will spend some time playing with Winter. Of course, he couldn’t leave without rewarding her with some well-earned treats too.

Blaisdell loves capturing these special moments and sharing them on TikTok (@blazetyson666). A video, posted on December 31, showing just how excited Winter gets whenever she sees his truck has delighted the internet, leading to more than 2 million views and over 317,200 likes at the time of writing.

During the clip, Winter can be seen waiting patiently in the snow for the FedEx truck to pull up outside her home, watching Blaisdell intently until he came to play. Once he was finally ready, Blaisdell gladly fed the dog some treats and gave her plenty of fuss.

The online response to the video is beyond anything he expected, but Blaisdell is just so happy it could brighten people’s days. Indeed, Winter’s owners equally love watching the clips on social media and seeing the bond she has developed with Blaisdell.

“Her owners are the sweetest family ever, and they love the videos and knowing that they bring joy to people,” Blaisdell told Newsweek. “The reaction on TikTok has been amazing. It’s all been very positive and the comments are awesome to read.”

The friendship between Winter and her favorite delivery driver has captured plenty of attention online. In fact, the viral TikTok video has amassed over 5,400 comments in just a matter of days, as TikTok users praised the duo’s enviable bond.

One comment on the post reads: “She totally thinks you come just to see her.”

Another TikTok user wrote: “when my tracking app says 10 spots away and never moves.”

Another person replied: “The world needs more delivery drivers like you!”

While one commenter said: “This is the wholesome content the internet needs.”
