Tom Brady hates losing.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion still talks about the three championship games he lost, even though he is considered by a majority of football fans to be the greatest player to ever play the game.
Over the weekend, during the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, Brady took a beating from the official USA team that showed the master quarterback the differences between the two sports.
But following his endeavor in flag football, that might not be the last new frontier Brady dabbles in before summer arrives.
After months of trash-talking between him and WWE pro wrestler Logan Paul, which spilled into the Fanatics Flag Football Classic, there might be a payoff coming in a month at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
Brady, a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, knows Allegiant Stadium well and could be making his way to the arena for a packed crowd even before his football team takes its first snap of the preseason.
Per Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, Brady and the WWE are in talks about doing something at their biggest event of the year.
“From what I have been told, they are in negotiations for Tom Brady, but there’s absolutely not a deal at this point for Tom Brady,” said Metlzer in a recent episode of his radio show.
“So it could happen, obviously, Logan Paul and Tom Brady are working, everyone knows they’re working the angle. I think people have seen that coming in, but there could be something in some form at WrestleMania.”
Meltzer went on to say that although Brady has been putting down WWE and pro wrestling in recent interviews, it’s all part of the ultimate goal of doing something bigger at WrestleMania.
Could Brady actually have a match at ‘Mania against Paul?
Although it would be shocking, Brady would be far from the first NFL athlete to wrestle a match at WrestleMania. In fact, legendary linebacker Lawrence Taylor main-evented WrestleMania XI in 1995, defeating pro wrestler Bam Bam Bigelow in the climactic match.
