The close bond between a young woman and her pet dog, whom she lightheartedly describes as being the "obsessed man" she once asked the universe to gift her, has delighted viewers on TikTok.
The creator, known as Ayla Meade, shared a short video to the platform on April 8, capturing her loyal dog clinging to her arm and shoulder during a few car rides. Set to comedic effect, an overlaid text on the clip read: "Asked the universe for a man who is obsessed with me, maybe I should have been more specific." Meade, who goes by the handle @aylameade6, captioned the post: "It's the toe grips for me."
The 9-second video shows Meade sitting in the car, with her dog pressed tightly against her arm and shoulder with an unshakable grip. In every angle, the canine remains steadfastly glued to her, as if refusing to let her out of his sight. In one memorable moment, the pup is seen sat on a different seat while gripping both his paws onto his owner's forearm. Meade herself is seen smiling throughout the clips, the dog's clingy antics clearly more endearing than annoying.
The hilarious clip has struck a chord with viewers on TikTok, with the post being seen more than 1.3 million times to date, drawing over 285,000 likes from viewers amused by the dog's love of his owner. The video has prompted more than 3,000 comments from viewers who could not get enough of the affectionate dog and his owner's cheeky commentary.
