A dog owner shared footage of the unfortunate moment she walked into her home, only to realize she had mistakenly left her husky waiting patiently outside.
TikTok user @s11_kelevra shared the hilarious door-cam footage of the moment she returned home from a dog walk but accidentally left something rather important waiting outside on the porch—her husky.
During the video, the owner can be seen walking toward the front door with her two huskies and safely guiding one inside, all the while forgetting about the second pup. Once inside, the owner casually went about her day, not noticing that one of her dogs was still outside.
The husky waited patiently for around 10 minutes until she finally noticed her mistake and quickly rectified it. Throughout that time, the woman’s other pup stood by the door, waiting for her to notice that a certain someone was missing.
The door cam footage has left internet users in hysterics since it was shared on TikTok in December. The video has gone viral with over 3.6 million views and more than 386,400 likes on TikTok at the time of writing.

The caption alongside the clip explained that the owner didn’t realize her dog was still outside; she just “missed him going inside.” The husky was out there for around 10 minutes while his sister “patiently waited on the other side for him,” the caption continues.
The owner wrote in a TikTok comment that “something felt off” the entire time, but she just presumed the dog was in the closet or bathroom. When it became clear he wasn’t inside, she “panicked internally” and rushed over to the door and let him back into the house. The husky didn’t hesitate to waltz back inside and find his spot alongside his canine sister once again.
Since the door-cam footage went viral, internet users have rushed to the comments to share their reactions. Many people praised the husky’s undeterred patience, while others lauded his sister for doing her best to alert their owner to what happened.
This has led to more than 2,100 comments on the TikTok video, as one person replied: “they are both SO confused.”
Another TikTok user wrote: “It’s the one at the door like do u not see my brother outside lady.”
A third person said: “Tell me your sibling is the golden child without telling me your sibling is the golden child.”
