MANILA, Philippines — No official venue or ticket selling has been announced yet for BTS' concert in the Philippines next year, an executive from show promoter Live Nation Philippines said.
The K-pop boy band is set to embark on a sprawling world tour later this month, its first in four years, which will see them perform 85 show dates in 23 countries.
The tour promoting BTS' latest album "Arirang" is currently slated to end on March 13 and 14, 2027 in Manila, which would mark a decade since the group last performed in the country.
Filipino ARMY are already ecstatic about seeing the boy band once again on Philippine shores, anticipating details about where they will perform and how much tickets will cost.
While no official information has been released, a social media post began circulating claiming the intended venue for BTS' concert is the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque as obtained from a "legitimate and official source."
The supposed details reached Live Nation Philippines Managing Director Rhiza Pascua, who debunked the information on X.
"We are aware of false information circulating online regarding our event. The venue being mentioned is incorrect. Also, claims of 'VIP tickets' already in circulation are false. No tickets have been released or printed," Pascua said.
The executive said that because of the misinformation, which she labelled as misleading and unauthorized information, the company has received serious threats, which her team is attending with utmost urgency.
"We are currently investigating the source and will take appropriate legal action, including coordination with authorities, against those responsible," Pascua continued. "The public is advised to rely only on official announcements from our verified channels.
"Why would we give permission when it's not even true?" Pascua replied to one X user, calling the details unofficial. "The only legitimate and official source from our company would be me and I do not the know the person who posted."
In response to another user, she doubled down on the information being false and "obviously made up," citing Live Nation Philippines' history of not asking others to post details on their behalf.

"We go by specific days given to us for announcement. Walang leak-leak sa amin," Pascua said, reiterating that the details were "fake news.
