MANILA, Philippines — Choo Young-woo and Lee Se-young headling the upcoming Netflix Korean drama "Long Vacation," the latest project by "Crash Landing on You" and "Doona!" director Lee Jung-hyo.

The streaming platform released images of a table read including the two actors in Seoul, with screenwriter Jung Hyun-jung — who wrote Jung-hyo's "Romance is a Bonus Book" — also boarding the project.

Young-woo will play the powerful, long-living being Demon 3375 who does not understand love, while Se-young will portray hotel room attendant Deul-pan.

"When the two keep crossing paths at a seaside hotel, an unlikely relationship begins to emerge, shaking up everything the demon thought he knew," goes a synopsis for the show.

Young-woo made his acting debut in 2021 with "Police University" and "You Make Me Dance," but 2025 was his banner year thanks to "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call," "Mercy for None," and "Head Over Heels," which is part of "The Tale of Lady Ok." He also made his film debut "Even If This Love Disappears From the World Tonight" last year.

His performance in "The Tale of Lady Ok" won him Best New Actor in the Baeksang Arts Awards and Korea Drama Awards (also honored for "Head Over Heels" in the latter), while also winning Best Actor - Male and Icon Award - Actor honors last year's Asia Artist Awards.

Apart from "Long Vacation," Young-woo will next be seen in "Love Doctor" opposite Kim So-hyun.

Se-young started out as a child actress in projects like "Jewel in the Palace," "Lovely Rivals," "Rain Shower," and "When I Turned Nine" before breaking out as an older artist in "The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop," which won her the Baeksang Arts Award for Best New Actress - Television.

She is also known for her roles in "The Red Sleeve," "What Comes After Love," "Kairos," "Doctor John," "Motel California," "Hwayugi: A Korean Odyssey," "The Story of Park's Marriage Contract," and "The Crowned Clown."

The actress will next be seen in "The Remarried Empress" alongside Shin Min-a, Ju Ji-hoon, and Lee Jong-suk.

Jung-hyo worked as an assistant director and co-director in several ventures before solo directorial credits in "Seoul Warrior Story" and "I Need Romance 2012."

Before "Crash Landing on You," Jung-hyo directed the likes of "The Good Wife," "Witch's Romance," and "My First Time," while his only project since "Doona!" was last year's "The Price of Confession."

Hyun-jung has been writing Korean dramas since the turn of the century, her latest works being "Lovestruck in the City" and "Our Blooming Youth."
