MANILA, PhilippinesMiss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados is making her pageantry comeback after her participation in the inaugural Miss Grand International (MGI) All Stars competition was confirmed.

MGI officially announced Gazini would join the pageant on its social media accounts, making her the fourth Philippine contestant after Fuschia Anne Ravena, Alexia Núñez and Keylyn Pan Guevara Trajano.

This special edition of MGI is open to women and transwomen aged 20 to 40, regardless of marital status or whether they have previously competed in or won a pageant. Countries are allowed to send more than one delegate.

Gazini is best known for competing in Miss World Philippines 2014 as a teenager before representing the Philippines at Miss Universe 2019 where she placed in the Top 20 and won the Best National Costume award.

The Palestenian-Filipina from Cebu was the last Miss Universe titleholder under the ownership of Binibining Pilipinas until the local franchise was granted to a new organizing body as Miss Universe Philippines.

MGI noted that the 30-year-old Gazini is one of the Philippines' most recognizable beauty queens having showcased her "elegance, resilience, and dedication to representing women with strength and authenticity" while in pageantry.

Since Miss Universe 2019 Gazini has signed with GMA Network's talent arm Sparkle and made a name for herself in showbiz as a model and television personality.

The Miss Grand International All Stars competition will begin on May 18 in Thailand, with the coronation night set for May 30.
