MANILA, Philippines Prime Video is expanding the different kinds of content for viewing on the streaming platform, whether its live entertainment or Asian dramas.

During the Prime Video Presents: Philippines event in Makati last April 14, Prime Video Southeast Asia's Head of Content Acquisition Chaitanya Divan, exclusively unveiled three upcoming Korean titles arriving later this year.

First among these is a show with the working title "Final Table" starring actor and singer Ahn Hyo-seop, best known for "Dr. Romantic," "Business Proposal," "A Time Called You" and most recently the 2025 films "KPop Demon Hunters" and "Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy."

Hyo-seop will play Kang Han, an overseas-based chef who joins "The Table: K-Chef 2026" — a competition searching for the best Korean chef — representing the "Familiar" restaurant after a sudden turn of events.

Next is the office romance "Nine to Six" set in an automobile company starring Park Min-young, Yook Sung-jae and Go Soo.

Min-young's workaholic deputy manager Kang Yi-ji comes across warm-hearted intern Han Sun-woo (Sung-jae) and discovers in one another what they've both been missing — navigating love, career, family, and social pressure to find their own balance between independence and connection.

Finally there is "A Love Other Than Yours" with an ensemble cast featuring Seo Kang-joon, Ahn Eun-jin, Lee Joo-ahn, and Jo Aram in a show about a couple in a decade-long relationship forced to confront whether to tie the knot or go their separate ways.

In the same event, Divan noted that more than 50% of Filipino are fans of the National Basketball Association (NBA), with around 70% of those often tuning in to regular season games — some of which streamed on the platform).

As such, Prime Video will stream this year's NBA Play-In Tournament, Playoffs, Conference Finals, and exclusively the Finals.

Meanwhile, the platform's Head of Programming in the Asia-Pacific region Caitlin Parkinson teased a number of new anime headed to the platform.

Primary among these are the second season of "From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman" and an all-new "The Ghost in the Shell," which she said will stay true to the manga it's based on.
