MANILA, Philippines —Discovery Resorts properties in Boracay and Coron were were recognized as among the best in Asia.
Discovery Boracay was recognized at the DestinAsian Readers' Choice Awards 2025 as one of the Best Hotels in the Philippines and was named among Travel + Leisure's Top 500 Hotels.
The resort recently shone at the Haute Grandeur Global Excellence Awards with distinctions as Best Honeymoon Hotel in Asia, Best Beach Resort in the Philippines, Best Family Resort in the Philippines, and Best Luxury Resort in the Philippines.
"[The] recognition means so much to us. Every day, we work to create memorable stays for all kinds of guests, whether it’s honeymooners, families on vacation, or travelers seeking peace and quiet," General Manager Erwin Lopez said in a statement.
Over at the northern tip of Palawan, Discovery Coron received the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence Award from the Department of Tourism and Good Travel Seal from Green Destinations, a global organization supporting sustainable destinations and communities.
It was also recognized at the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2025 as one of the Best Beach, Island, and Upcountry Resorts in the Philippines, and its own General Manager, Joegil Magtanggol Escobar, was honored as the Top 1 General Manager in the country.
Discovery Coron celebrated multiple victories at the Haute Grandeur Global Excellence Awards, winning Best Dive Resort in Asia, Best Destination Resort in the Philippines, Best Eco-Friendly Hotel in the Philippines, and Best Island Resort in the Philippines.
