MANILA, Philippines — "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" Kapuso Big Winner Caprice Cayetano revealed that she wants to spend more time with her familly this summer to make up for the time spent inside the famous TV house.
Caprice said that she is hoping to go out of the country with her family this summer.
“Summer plans ko po ay gusto ko po gumala with my family, reconnect and catch up po kasi matagal-tagal din po akong nawala," Caprice told PUSH.
"Sana po kahit saan po, out of town or out of country po sana. Sana po sa Bangkok po,” she added.
The young actress continues her now successful showbiz career by bagging an endorsement with an American fast food chain.
Caprice recently led the grand opening of Wendy's Philippines' 100th store in Angeles City, Pampanga.
During the event, Caprice said that she is honored to be the new ambassador of the fast food chain.
"I'm so excited for the 100th branch," she said.
"I'm so happy and honored po to be part of this celebration," she added.
Caprice joined several VIPs during the ribbon-cutting ceremony, including Dennis N. Dimaunahan, chief financial officer of Eight8Ate Holdings Inc.; Michael Bruce, director of operations for APMEA; and Joey R. Garcia, president and chief executive officer of Eight8Ate Holdings Inc. Eight8Ate Holdings is the master franchisee and operator of Wendy's in the Philippines.
Garcia said that he watched "PBB" and found that Caprice loves their iced tea.
"Before we even actually took Caprice as our brand ambassador, she was already a fan of Wendy’s," Joey told PEP.
He cited an episode where the young star mentioned how she loves their iced tea. Garcia said that they wanted their endorser to be familiar, to have an "attachment" to their brand.
Garcia said that the 100th store is a new milestone and a fresh start for the brand.
"It's actually a blessing to me more than intentional because when we were heading to 100th store, we have three stores actually that we're about to open and I said, 'Whoever goes first probably will be the 100.' But this one came out first," Garcia said.
"So I said, parang blessing siya talaga kasi our intention is to get something really big in Angeles. Kasi alam mo, from Pampanga ako.
"Pangalawa, I think it's about time that Wendy's really somehow be promoted in Angeles. Wala tayong store sa Angeles na... so this is really the first store, aside from the Clark. So ito 'yung unang-unang store natin that's really come out of Clark," he added.
Joey said that the new branch is the first in Asia to adopt a new design following Wendy's Australia market.
"We are using the same look and feel for our new stores and then the old stores that we have, we're renovating them. We are actually updating their design to make them feel and look like this.
"We feel na iba 'yung, ano, iba 'yung feel pagpa-lunch mo, 'di ba? More fresh, more 'yung vibe. Even the atmosphere, the way you actually feel is completely different from our old store. Hindi na siya boring. Hindi na matanda," Garcia ended.
