MANILA, Philippines – Calling all chocolate connoisseurs! What are your plans for World Chocolate Day?
Every July 7, World Chocolate Day celebrates not just the beloved sweet itself, but the craftsmanship and creativity that goes into every sweet dessert. What better way to honor it than by going on an indulgent, chocolate-filled adventure across Metro Manila?
Here’s where to get your chocolate fix!
A sweet adventure at S Maison x Auro World Chocolate Fair
Kicking off the festivities is Auro Chocolate’s annual World Chocolate Fair (WCF), held from July 3 to 6 at S Maison at Conrad Manila. This year’s theme, “Aliens and Dinosaurs,” promises an intergalactic blast from the past.
Now in its sixth year, the event celebrates Auro’s sweet journey while going bigger and bolder, with over 10 local vendors offering everything from chocolate drinks to pastries and desserts.
One highlight? SNA’AP Chocolates, the famed “Dubai chocolate,” joins the lineup with a special Ube Baklava, made in collaboration with Auro.
On Sunday, July 6, don’t miss the drag performance by Drag Race Philippines alum Tiny Deluxe, who’s set to close the event with a fabulous “final showdown.” Best of all, admission is free.
Refined afternoon affair at Shangri-La Makati
Prefer something more elegant? Shangri-La Makati invites you to a chocolate-themed afternoon tea on July 5 and 6, from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Held at the hotel’s Lobby Lounge, the event showcases sophisticated chocolate creations, including the standout Chocolate Martini.
Afternoon tea sets include a curated array of chocolate-forward and classic sweets. Entrance starts at P1,800 per person.
