At its I/O event on Tuesday, May 20 (May 21, Manila time), Google announced it was launching a new subscription plan called Google AI Ultra to bundle its AI products with generous usage limits for AI power users in the United States.
For $249.99 a month, Google AI Ultra will offer “the highest level of access” to Google’s suite of AI tools.

AI Ultra will offer Google’s Veo 2 video generator and early access to Veo 3, the Flow video editing app, the Whisk image remixing app, the NotebookLM platform, prototype “agentic” tools from its Project Mariner technology, an individual subscription to Youtube Premium, and Gemini in Google’s suite of applications — such as Gmail, Docs, Vids, and in Chrome. As part of the access to Gemini, Ultra subscribers will also get access to Deep Think in 2.5 Pro, which is set to release in the future.
Google AI Ultra subscribers will also get 30TB of storage.
For those not in the US, Google’s current AI subscription plan will now be renamed Google AI Pro. Google AI Pro will have access to the Flow AI filmmaking tool and the ability to use Gemini in Chrome, in addition to what was previously offered in the Pro subscription. These benefits will be given to US subscribers first, with other countries to follow.
Google AI Pro will cost P1,100 a month for Philippine users.
Google has also said it will expand access to Google AI Ultra to more countries “soon.” – Rappler.com
