TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Choosing cities as vacation destinations involves careful consideration of various factors, including safety. Forbes Advisor recently conducted a study ranking cities worldwide based on safety criteria.
The study evaluated 60 international destinations across seven parameters: travel safety ratings, crime risk, personal security risk, health security risk, infrastructure security risk, natural disaster risk, and digital security risk.
For solo travelers, this information is particularly valuable. Singapore topped the list as the safest city, followed by Tokyo. At the opposite end, Caracas, Venezuela, was ranked the most dangerous.
