On April 8th, South Korean media reported that G-Dragon has received at least 65 billion won (approximately 1.2 trillion VND) in payments from his management company for the year 2025.
Specifically, according to financial reports released by Galaxy Corporation, the cost of paying artists for the year was approximately 71.4 billion won (over 1.27 trillion VND), a significant increase compared to the period before the singer's comeback. Furthermore, G-Dragon's actual income is believed to be even higher when including revenue from music royalties, advertising, and personal activities.
Over the past year, G-Dragon returned with his third studio album, Übermensch, marking his comeback after a long hiatus. The album sold over 600,000 copies on its first day and is projected to surpass 1 million copies in 2025.
In addition, the male artist toured 17 cities with 39 shows, attracting approximately 825,000 viewers, demonstrating his consistent appeal in the music market.
The success of these activities contributed to Galaxy Corporation achieving revenue of nearly 299 billion won (approximately 5.34 trillion VND), an increase of over 619% compared to the previous year, and turning from a loss to a profit, considered a turning point after collaborating with the male artist.
