Suzuki Fronx 2026 from 564 million in Thailand, waiting for launch date in Vietnam

Suzuki has just launched the Fronx in the Thai market, imported completely from Indonesia. This B-size SUV is also scheduled to arrive in Vietnam on October 17.
In the Thai market, the new Suzuki Fronx is distributed in three versions, with prices as follows: 1.5 GL 4AT: 689,000 baht (equivalent to 564 million VND), 1.5 GLX Mild Hybrid 6AT: 749,000 baht (equivalent to 614 million VND), 1.5 GLX Plus Mild Hybrid 6AT: 799,000 baht (equivalent to 654 million VND).
In terms of dimensions, the Fronx is 3,995 mm long, 1,765 mm wide, 1,550 mm high, has a wheelbase of 2,520 mm and a ground clearance of 170 mm. The luggage compartment capacity reaches 1,009 liters when the rear seats are folded, and the fuel tank is 37 liters. Compared within the segment, the Fronx is more compact than the Honda WR-V, Mazda CX-3, Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks or Toyota Yaris Cross.
The GL version's equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels, LED lights, a 7-inch touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, 6 airbags, a rear camera, and rear parking sensors.
The upgraded GLX Mild Hybrid version comes with automatic air conditioning, push-button start, 9-inch screen, Cruise Control, paddle shift, smart key, electric folding mirrors and UV-resistant glass.
The highest-end GLX Plus Mild Hybrid version is equipped with two-tone paint, black-red leather interior, wireless charger, HUD screen, and advanced safety package Suzuki Safety Support (ADAS) including automatic braking...
Other equipment on the Suzuki Fronx GLX Plus Mild Hybrid version includes: lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning, cross traffic warning and 360-degree camera.
The car has two engine options. The standard version uses a 1.5L K15B petrol engine, 105 horsepower, 138 Nm torque, combined with a 4-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
Mild Hybrid versions use a 1.5L K15C Dual Jet engine (101 horsepower, 135 Nm) combined with a WA06A electric motor (3.1 horsepower, 60 Nm), SHVS 12V mild hybrid system, 6-speed automatic transmission, front-wheel drive.
The overall dimensions of the Fronx are 3,995 x 1,765 x 1,550 mm, wheelbase 2,550 mm, unladen weight 2,275 kg. The luggage compartment capacity reaches 304 liters when the rear seats are upright.
Suzuki offers five solid colors and three two-tone options with a black roof. In Thailand, the company aims to sell 2,000 Fronx units within four months of its launch.
Currently, the specific equipment and selling price of the Suzuki Fronx 2026 in the Vietnamese market have not been announced, but will certainly be the same as the version about to be sold in Vietnam because they are both imported from Indonesia.
