Jannik Sinner endured a challenging match against Tomas Machac in the third round of the Monte Carlo Masters 1000, before ultimately winning 2-1 (6-1, 6-7, 6-3).
Right from the first set, the world number 2 showed his superiority by quickly breaking his opponent's serve twice, taking a 4-0 lead. Machac could only win one game before quickly accepting a 1-6 defeat after 27 minutes.
