The Golden Bridge in Da Nang, Vietnam, ranked 4th in the list of 19 most beautiful bridges in the world, as announced by Time Out travel magazine (UK) in February 2026.
The ranking includes 19 structures worldwide , honoring bridges with perfect architecture combined with impressive construction techniques, serving as iconic tourist attractions for their respective countries.
Surpassing many long-standing iconic structures such as the Brooklyn Bridge in the US or the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia, the Golden Bridge was judged by experts of the magazine as a "phenomenon" of modern tourism , optimally designed for the social media age. Taking first place in Time Out 's ranking is the Stari Most Bridge (a 16th-century stone structure) located in Bosnia and Herzegovina (a country in Southeast Europe).
The Golden Bridge was constructed between 2017 and 2018, officially opening to visitors in June 2018. The structure is approximately 150 meters long, situated at an altitude of nearly 1,000 meters above sea level, overlooking Da Nang city. Its architectural highlight is the two giant, weathered stone hands, giving the impression of an ancient relic. However, in reality, it is a modern structure designed as a tourist landmark and quickly became a social media phenomenon after its launch in 2018.
Visitors wishing to see the bridge will travel by cable car to the top of Ba Na Hill where the bridge is located. Besides the Golden Bridge, the area also features many European-style structures, a French village, and entertainment areas.
