A cheetah cub has been born in India after eight cubs were transferred from Namibia, marking a step forward in a project to revive the endangered species.

Of the eight leopards brought from South Africa to India on September 17th, five are male and three are female. After arriving at their "new home" in India, they were quarantined and cared for at Kuno National Park in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
