According to Corriere dello Sport , Milan are ready to listen to any offers to sign Nkunku in the upcoming summer transfer window. The French striker has only scored 6 goals in all competitions this season, including 1 in the Coppa Italia and 5 in the domestic league.
Nkunku had an impressive scoring run at the end of December 2025, when he scored a brace against Verona, and then went on to score against Fiorentina, Como, and Bologna. However, that was a rare bright spot, because since the beginning of 2026, the striker has almost "disappeared" from Milan's attack.
Once considered a highly promising signing, Nkunku has failed to live up to expectations. A serious knee injury in 2023 significantly impacted his form, preventing the 1997-born player from rediscovering the explosive version of himself he displayed during his Bundesliga career.

Having joined Milan in early September 2025 for a fee of 38 million euros, Nkunku has yet to integrate into the Italian team. In 28 appearances in Serie A (12 starts), the French striker has often been disappointing.
Given this situation, Milan's management is said to have valued Nkunku at around 30 million euros to avoid financial losses. Fenerbahce submitted an offer in January and may return in the summer, while mid-table Premier League clubs are also considered potential destinations. Additionally, a move to Saudi Arabia is also being considered.
The money earned from this transfer is expected to be reinvested by Milan in their attack. Coach Massimiliano Allegri will likely propose suitable options, especially if the team continues to maintain the 3-5-2 formation.
