The Ferrari Daytona SP3, part of the Icona Ferrari product line, boasts an increased power output of up to 868 horsepower thanks to an upgrade package from the renowned tuning company Novitec.
Following the Monza SP1 and Monza SP2, the Daytona SP3 is the flagship model in the Icona Series, modeled after iconic Ferrari cars. Novitec is one of the few tuning companies to announce performance upgrade packages for this supercar, thanks to its naturally aspirated V12 engine configuration.
Novitec undertook a handcrafted upgrade project on a Ferrari Daytona SP3 supercar in Stetten, Unterallgäu (Germany), aiming to improve performance and modify the operating mechanisms. The supercar's appearance was preserved, as the Daytona SP3 draws inspiration from classic Ferrari models, particularly the 330 P3/4.
Novitec offers three forged wheel designs from Vossen for the Ferrari Daytona SP3 supercar. The NF10 wheels feature a double five-spoke design with a center lock, measuring 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear.
The entire exhaust system is coated with heat insulation to reduce engine compartment temperature and improve stability. For better heat dissipation, Novitec offers a 999 gold plating solution for the entire exhaust pipe.
The Ferrari Daytona SP3's interior is also personalized with premium leather and Alcantara, handcrafted with high precision.
The original Ferrari Daytona SP3 is powered by a 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 engine, producing 840 horsepower and 697 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed F1 DCT dual-clutch transmission.
Novitec has upgraded the high-performance exhaust system and added a new catalytic converter, increasing power by 28 horsepower, reaching a maximum of 868 horsepower.
Novitec didn't mention driving performance figures, but it will certainly far exceed the original acceleration figures (0-100 km/h in 2.85 seconds and a top speed of over 340 km/h).
Novitec did not disclose the cost of this upgrade project. The Ferrari Daytona SP3 has a starting price of $2.3 million (60.2 billion VND), however, the "599+1" unit was successfully auctioned for a staggering $26 million (approximately 680 billion VND).
The Ferrari Daytona SP3 is the fourth model in the Icona Series, inspired by the legendary Ferrari F40, and uses the renowned naturally aspirated V12 engine.
