Following the resounding success of its first generation, Hyundai has officially launched the new 2026 version of its three-row Palisade SUV.
In terms of appearance, the new 2026 Hyundai Palisade not only features a completely redesigned design language but also increased dimensions and upgraded technology to solidify its position in the fiercely competitive mid-size crossover segment.
Building on the solid foundation of its "sibling" Kia Telluride, the 2026 Hyundai Palisade sheds its old soft lines to adopt a more angular and masculine appearance.
The new design, featuring a large silver D-pillar and bold LED lighting system reminiscent of the Ioniq 9 electric SUV, gives it a modern and powerful look on the road. The longer wheelbase and expanded overall dimensions not only make the car look more imposing but also promise a more optimized interior space.
Stepping into the cockpit, users will be overwhelmed by the complete redesign. The dashboard features curves inspired by modern interiors, combined with two 12.3-inch curved screens fully integrated with connectivity technologies such as wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and the Hyundai Pay payment system.
In particular, the top-of-the-line Calligraphy version offers an experience comparable to Genesis luxury models with premium materials and exquisite craftsmanship. Rear seat comfort is also a major plus, as the Palisade offers optional second-row business-class seats with reclining and leg support functions.
The cargo space is flexibly adjustable from 540 liters to over 1,300 liters when the third row seats are folded down, making it well-suited for long journeys. The 2026 Palisade is equipped with driver-assistance technologies such as automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control. Higher trim levels may add an advanced adaptive cruise control system with lane-centering function, along with parking assist sensors.
Powering the 2026 Hyundai Palisade is a 3.5L V6 engine producing 287 horsepower, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and a choice of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Although the increased weight results in a 0-96 km/h acceleration time of around 8 seconds – slower than the previous generation – the Palisade is still highly regarded for its smooth ride, making it a perfect fit for family transportation.
In the international market, the 2026 Hyundai Palisade is priced from $41,035 to $56,160 (approximately 1.07 - 1.47 billion VND), depending on the version. According to experts, the SEL Premium version is the most balanced choice, adding valuable features such as ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and a 360-degree camera.
Although the free scheduled maintenance package will no longer be available from the 2026 model year, Hyundai's powertrain warranty policy of up to 10 years or 160,000 km remains one of the most reputable commitments on the market today.
In the Vietnamese market, the Palisade is the older generation and is sold in 4 versions, priced from 1.469 to 1.589 billion VND. It is predicted that, after several Southeast Asian markets such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand, the new 2026 Hyundai Palisade will soon be brought to Vietnam.
