Ousmane Dembele's return came at the right time, turning "Le Classique" into a display of power as PSG crushed Marseille with a dominant performance and a flurry of goals.
Marseille had previously beaten PSG in the first leg when Ousmane Dembele was absent due to injury, but the scenario this time was completely different.
In the 12th minute, the 2025 Ballon d'Or winner made the difference with a two-on-one combination with Nuno Mendes, before neatly finishing to open the scoring for PSG.
After conceding a goal, Marseille struggled to withstand the suffocating pressure. In the 21st minute, Barcola's shot hit the post, and De Lange had to make a save against Doue's strike in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute, Dembele continued his brilliance, beating both Balerdi and Medina before his shot hit the underside of the crossbar, completing his brace.
In the second half, the one-sided game continued. Doue and Barcola continued to hit the post, before Medina scored an own goal while trying to block a pass from Vitinha.
The players who came off the bench also managed to leave their mark: Kvaratskhelia scored with a beautiful volley, and Lee Kang In sealed the 5-0 victory in the 74th minute.
PSG concluded Le Classique with a devastating performance, asserting their superior class and reclaiming the top spot from Lens.
